Ron Taylor
is a producer of film documentaries about unique people and their personal contributions. With his wife Professor of Special Education Maureen Keyes, he also facilitates multi-media workshops on disabilities. His first epic documentary about his coming of age in the sixties south SUCKALOwas reviewed by Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun Times, November 9, 1976: "A tremendously complex work....like being immersed in the scrapbook of Taylor's subconscious. Taylor wants to inundate us with his material, to absorb us in his editing rhythm. This film ultimately has a hypnotic effect." He has produced over 100 videos on justice, personal growth and environmental issues from John Denver's annual "Choices for the Future Symposium" in Aspen, CO. He has a Master of Science degree in Film/Photography from the Institute of Design IIT Chicago. |
